This catalog entry features a 300 foot spool of thin capillary cord designed for passive irrigation. The 1/12 in diameter makes it suitable for smaller pots and delicate seed starting setups where a heavy flow of water might overwhelm the growing medium. It provides a steady supply of moisture to the root zone without manual intervention.

The material is built to resist rot and degradation when buried in soil or submerged in water reservoirs. This makes it a reliable choice for DIY hydroponic systems or for keeping houseplants hydrated while away. The length of the spool allows for custom sizing, so you can cut exactly what is needed for multiple containers.

Using this cord helps maintain consistent moisture levels for flowers and seedlings. It works by drawing water from a lower reservoir up into the planter through capillary action. This method is particularly effective for African violets or other species that prefer bottom watering to keep their foliage dry and healthy during the growth cycle.
